I am Lauren Oliver. I was born by the ocean in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I have been writing since I was thirteen. For the past four years, I lived nomadically, moving through cities, countries, and versions of myself. I am now based in Scottsdale, Arizona sharing a quiet life with my small cat named Atlas. Everything I create is an offering of what I have lived, lost, and come to understand.
I began drawing and painting by the age of 7. Nothing else interested me. Only science, art, and movement. At 13, I found poetry. I have been writing ever since.
I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Florida. After working in healthcare for 3 years, I decided to start my own online coaching business.
I lived as a digital nomad for 4 years, moving through 15 different countries including India, Spain, Thailand, Morocco, Italy, Nepal, France, and more. Each place became a mirror. I learned how to belong to everything and nothing all at once.
Now, I am here.
